My Experience

I have extensive experience caring for children in both nursery and residential childcare settings, giving me the skills and confidence to support children with a wide range of individual needs. Throughout my career, I have cared for children of different ages, including those with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and complex additional needs, adapting my approach to ensure every child feels safe, understood, and supported. My responsibilities have included planning and leading engaging activities that encourage learning and development, supporting speech and communication, promoting independence, assisting with personal care, preparing healthy meals and snacks, maintaining daily routines, supporting bedtime and morning routines, and creating a calm, nurturing environment where children can thrive.

In my residential childcare role, I provided round-the-clock care, helping children with their emotional wellbeing, encouraging positive behaviour through consistency and reassurance, supporting them during challenging moments, and working closely with professionals to meet each child’s individual care plan. In my nursery experience, I focused on creating fun, stimulating activities to support children’s learning and development while ensuring their safety, happiness, and wellbeing at all times.

I understand that every child is unique, and I pride myself on building trusting relationships through patience, kindness, and reliability. My priority is always to provide a warm, safe, and engaging environment where children feel comfortable and parents have complete confidence that their children are receiving the highest standard of care.

My Qualifications

I hold a Level 3 NVQ in Childcare and a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care, providing me with a strong understanding of child development, safeguarding, and high-quality childcare practices. I have a current Enhanced DBS check and am First Aid trained, giving parents added reassurance that their children are in safe hands. I have also completed a range of professional training, including Safeguarding Children, Health and Safety, Fire Safety, Food Hygiene, Medication Administration, and other mandatory childcare training. I am committed to maintaining the highest standards of care and regularly building on my knowledge to ensure I provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for every child.

My Availability

I offer a highly flexible childcare service and understand that every family’s needs are different. I am available seven days a week, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight stays, and other unsociable hours. I am also happy to help with last-minute childcare and emergency bookings, often with as little as an hour’s notice where possible. Whether you need regular ongoing support, occasional babysitting, overnight care, or a reliable backup when unexpected situations arise, I will always do my best to accommodate your family’s needs. My aim is to provide dependable, flexible childcare that gives parents complete peace of mind, no matter the time of day.

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
