I am a warm, reliable and caring childcare professional who enjoys helping children feel happy, secure and engaged. I have extensive experience working with children of all ages and pride myself on building positive relationships with both children and parents. I am relocating back to Surrey and am looking forward to supporting a family over the summer.
My Experience
I worked as a nanny for 10 years, caring for children ranging from 6 months to 14 years of age, before training as a teacher. Since then, I have spent more than 20 years working in education, including as a qualified teacher and SEN specialist. This has given me extensive experience supporting children’s development, learning and wellbeing across a wide range of ages and needs.
My Qualifications
I am a qualified teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), and a Master’s degree in Specific Learning Difficulties (Dyslexia). I have also completed extensive Continuing Professional Development in child development and a wide range of special educational needs, including dyslexia, ADHD, autism, dyspraxia, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs.
