About Me

I am a children’s complex care support worker in the NHS and also a personal assistant to young adults on the weekend. I live in Newcastle-under-Lyme with my partner and our first baby boy and our three cats. Currently on maternity leave and loving every second.

My Requirements

I will be returning to work in September 2026 and I am looking for a placement for my son 2-3 days a week. Preferably with a childminder but also open to nurseries too.

The best decision I made for my son!

My son has been attending Panda Cubs since the beginning of September. Being a first time mum I was very anxious when it came to returning to work and where I was going to send my little boy for childcare. We visited the setting earlier in the year and instantly felt the warmth and caring nature from both Clair and Nicky. My little boy loved his initial visit and his settling in sessions - he was confident and full of smiles and giggles.

Initially when my son started attending in September he didn’t settle straight away and I think this was down to him just missing me and the change in routine. However Clair, Nicky, Maria and Ethan were all amazing with my son, making accommodations and helping his transition the best they could and I couldn’t be more thankful. Clair would send me daily updates and keep me in the loop of how my son was doing. This was important to me and helped to ease my own anxiety.

Fast forward just under a month and my son had settled in beautifully! He is now always so excited to go to Panda Cubs and always turns up with a smile. Clair still sends me updates which I love and I also really like the variety of activities and experiences my son gets to be a part of when attending. Clair’s knowledge of the EYFS is very clear and when going through my son’s development with me this is done in both a professional and personable manner. The setting is like a home from home and is always very clean and beautiful toys and resources available for the children. The food provided is also exceptional, my son eats very well at Panda Cubs and enjoys the variety of meals he has.

My little boy’s development has come on so much since attending Panda Cubs and I honestly feel like he’s doing something new every day! I cannot thank Clair, Nicky, Maria and Ethan enough for the wonderful care they provide. It’s meant I have been able to return to work with less guilt and anxiety because I know he’s being so beautifully cared for and nurtured in his development. Panda Cubs really is an amazing childcare setting and we will definitely be using them for any future children too!
