My Experience

I have over a year of experience volunteering in a local primary school, where I worked with nursery and Year 3 children as a classroom assistant. I supported teachers during lessons, led small group activities, and provided one-to-one support when needed.

I currently work as a Nursery Assistant, where I supervise children, engage them in creative and sensory play, help resolve minor conflicts, support lunchtime routines, and maintain a clean and organised environment. In my role, I focus on encouraging independence, positive behaviour, and confidence in children.

Throughout my experience, I have also supported children with special educational needs (SEN) and learning difficulties, adapting activities to suit individual needs, encouraging independence, and helping to manage behaviour calmly and positively.

My Qualifications

am currently studying Psychology, with a particular interest in child and cognitive development. Through my studies, I have explored areas such as developmental psychology, learning, behaviour, and sensory development.
I have completed safeguarding training and understand the importance of child safety, appropriate boundaries, and professional responsibility when working with children. I have also previously studied Sociology and Biology, which have strengthened my understanding of social development and wellbeing.

My Availability

I am generally available on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and can offer flexible hours throughout the day. However, I sometimes take on agency shifts and spend alternate weekends with family, so some dates may vary. I am happy to confirm availability in advance and will always communicate clearly regarding scheduling.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £14.00 per hour

My standard rate is £14 per hour, depending on hours and number of children. Evening and weekend bookings may be slightly higher. I am happy to discuss rates based on individual family needs.
