I have over 13 years of hands-on childcare experience as a mother to two boys aged 13 and 9, giving me a deep understanding of children’s emotional, social and developmental needs at different stages. Through daily routines, school support, activities, and managing busy family life, I have developed strong organisational skills, patience, and the ability to create a structured yet warm environment.
In addition to raising my own children, I regularly care for friends’ children, confidently managing different ages, personalities and routines. I am comfortable supporting with homework, preparing meals, organising activities, and ensuring children feel safe, engaged and valued.
Professionally, my role as a Level 3 qualified dental nurse has strengthened my safeguarding awareness, responsibility, and ability to remain calm in challenging situations. Working closely with patients of all ages, including children, has enhanced my communication skills and my ability to reassure and build trust quickly.

Through my Level 3 Dental Nursing qualification, I have received professional training in safeguarding, health and safety, cross infection control, and duty of care. My role requires responsibility, confidentiality, and the ability to remain calm in emergencies — all essential skills when caring for children.
My CACHE childcare certificates have strengthened my understanding of child development, wellbeing, and safe practice, while my first aid training ensures I can respond confidently and appropriately should a situation arise.
Combined with over 13 years of hands-on parenting experience, my qualifications reflect both professional training and real-life practical care.
My Availability
I am currently working 2 days a week as a dental nurse but looking to hand in resignation if a family is wanting me to help look after their children, so my days can be flexible.
