My Experience

I have experience babysitting and nannying for children of many ages. I worked as a full-time live-in nanny (au pair) in London for 2 years, looking after two lovely girls (aged 9 and 13). The role involved driving them to and from school, getting them ready in the mornings, helping with homework, organising fun activities and play dates with friends, cooking dinner occasionally, and making sure they always had someone they could come to if they needed. I really pride myself on being able to make great connections with children of all ages, and becoming not only a carer but a friend. I started babysitting as teenager, often for family members and family friends whose children were anywhere from 8 months to 5 years. I am therefore comfortable looking after children of all ages, from babies to teenagers. I am also available for tutoring or educational work, as I have professional experience tutoring teenagers, have volunteered as a teaching assistant in two primary schools, and volunteered as a primary school reading volunteer for bookmark charity, specialising in phonics education. I am also working part-time as a ballet teacher with the Tiny Toes franchise in Cambridge, a fully EYFS-integrated ballet curriculum for children ages 8 months to 6 years old. As such, I’m currently working towards my Level 1 EYFS teacher qualification!

My Qualifications

Currently studying for MPhil in Psychology and Education at Cambridge University, and graduated with 1st in Psychology from Durham University in 2023. I’m working towards my EYFS Level 1 qualification through the Tiny Toes Ballet franchise. I have an enhanced DBS check.

My Availability

I have regular classes on Wednesdays, and work on Saturday mornings until 1pm. Other than that, my schedule is very flexible!

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

Additional fee for more than 2 children at a time, of £2 per child/hour
