My Summary

My Experience

I have extensive experience working with children and young people through both professional and informal roles. As a Water Sports Instructor, Beach Lifeguard and group REP, I delivered sessions to school groups of varying ages, ensuring they were safe, engaged and supported at all times. This role required strong safeguarding awareness, patience and the ability to confidently manage groups while creating a positive and inclusive environment. As a qualified beach lifeguard, safety is always my top priority, and I am calm and responsible in situations that require quick thinking.
In addition, I coach primary school netball teams for children aged 8–11, where I lead training sessions, encourage teamwork and help build confidence in a fun and structured way. Coaching has strengthened my leadership skills and my ability to communicate clearly with younger children while keeping sessions enjoyable and organised.
I have also been babysitting for friends and family since I was 15 years old, caring for children of different ages. This has included helping with homework, preparing simple meals, bedtime routines and keeping children entertained through games and creative activities. Through this experience, I have developed a warm, patient and reliable approach to childcare that parents can feel confident in.

My Qualifications

I am currently completing my undergraduate degree at the University of Exeter and will be graduating in July. I achieved A Levels in Physical Education (A), Geography (B), Mathematics (C), as well as an Extended Project Qualification, and I hold 10 GCSEs (grades 9–6), including Maths and English.
I am fully First Aid trained and hold an enhanced DBS certificate. As a qualified Beach Lifeguard, I have professional safeguarding experience and am trained to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations. I also have experience coaching primary school netball teams, which has strengthened my leadership and communication skills when working with children.
I hold a full UK driving licence and am responsible, organised and highly safety-conscious in all childcare settings.

My Availability

I have recently finished my university lectures for the year and now have a very flexible schedule. I am available for most weekdays, evenings and weekends, and I am happy to accommodate regular or ad hoc bookings. The only times I may be unavailable are if I have a commitment planned in advance, which I would always communicate clearly and with plenty of notice. I am reliable and punctual, and I value clear communication when arranging childcare.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour

My standard babysitting rate starts from £13 per hour, depending on the number of children and specific requirements. I am happy to discuss rates for regular bookings or longer sessions. I aim to provide reliable, high-quality care and always approach each family’s needs with flexibility and clear communication.
