My Requirements
We are seeking a part-time nanny (3 days a week) for our 5- month-old baby girl, Julia.
I am on maternity leave recovering from a C-section, but my husband has a demanding, irregular work schedule that prevents him from helping during the week. I also need to prepare for a few exams and focus on that.
We prefer the nanny to care for Julia three days a week and to take her to creative play and early learning activities. We believe that one-on-one attention supports her development, along with attending age-appropriate playgroups, classes, and playdates. Activities include baby sensory classes, children’s centers, parks, museums, spa/ swiming, libraries, music classes, city farms, and building dens.
We also have a furry family member—our beloved Bengal cat, Nala. She is two years old and is very friendly.

Draga appears caring but initially disorganized. She cared for our 3-month-old girl over five weeks.
What I found particularly unprofessional was her arriving at work with a cold, including a fever, cough, blocked nose, and no voice. We sent her home and paid her for her time, but then she was absent for more than three weeks, often sending late afternoon messages to inform us she couldn't work.
In a professional setting with a contract, typically, a medical certificate confirming incapacity for extended periods would be required.
Regarding financial matters, she repeatedly stressed the importance of having a contract and expressed worries about her financial situation due to unemployment and the need for new housing. I even offered her temporary accommodation at our home as a last resort.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m disappointed to read your comments as I always aimed to provide safe and caring support for your child.
I would like to clarify that I did not attend work without a voice, I had a sore throat at the time which later developed into a cold. I always tried to communicate clearly and give as much notice as possible when my availability changed.
I believe that personal financial matters are not appropriate within a childcare working relationship, and I prefer to maintain clear professional boundaries.
