I provide caring, reliable childcare in a safe and friendly home environment in Bloxwich. I have a calm, patient approach and enjoy supporting children in a nurturing setting where they feel comfortable and supported.
Home-Based Childcare (Bloxwich)
Children can be looked after at my home in Bloxwich. My 10-year-old daughter will also always be present, as I home school her. This creates a friendly, family-style environment where children have company and can enjoy age-appropriate activities together such as crafts, reading, games, and outdoor play where suitable.
Babysitting in Your Home
I can also provide babysitting services in your own home if you would prefer your child to remain in their familiar surroundings. Please note that my daughter will accompany me when I provide babysitting services.
I aim to create a warm, respectful and supportive atmosphere where children feel safe and parents feel confident leaving their little ones in my care.
My Experience
I have extensive experience working with children in a variety of environments and roles. As a mother of four, I home schooled all of my children, giving me many years of hands-on experience supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing.
While my children attended a Christian private school, I volunteered my time teaching drama and dance, helping children build confidence, creativity, and teamwork skills.
I have also served in Sunday schools at several churches, where I taught and supported children through lessons and activities, including teaching dance as part of the programme.
In addition, I worked with the charity Changing Basis as a mentor, supporting children who struggled to engage with the traditional school system. My role involved encouraging them, building their confidence, and helping them participate more positively in education.
I have also worked at Christian camps, teaching and supporting children in a fun and structured environment, once again including teaching dance as part of the activities.
Through these experiences I have developed a strong ability to connect with children, encourage their confidence, and create a supportive, engaging environment where they can feel safe and valued.
My Qualifications
While I do not hold formal childcare qualifications, I bring over 30 years of real-life experience caring for and raising children. As a mother of four, I have successfully raised and home educated my children, supporting their learning, development, and wellbeing throughout their childhood.
This hands-on experience has given me a deep understanding of children’s needs at different ages, as well as the patience, care, and practical skills needed to create a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment.
My experience as a parent, combined with my involvement in schools, churches, and children’s activities over the years, has equipped me with the confidence and ability to care for and engage with children in a positive and meaningful way.
