About Me
Hi, my name is Caitlin. I have a GCSE in child development. I am comfortable with kids of all ages, however need more experience with babies. I have been diagnosed with aspergis syndrome, which is a weak case of autism. As a result, instructions given need to be detailed and simplified to guarantee understanding. I am also very honest and open however i believe that is a positive trait rather than a negative one. I am great at following instructions and schedules and am not afraid of going the extra mile to ensure the safety and comfort of the child. I can also follow any dietary requirements and allergy precautions, however have no medical training. I love children and babies, so i have a lot of patience and love to give. I hope to build trust and connection with those who I babysit to ensure everyone has an amazing time.
My Experience
I have experience with 7 year old children and under. I need further experience with babies and pre-teens, however I believe that I can handle just about anything. I can also handle children with learning and communication difficulties, as i was one of them and know how to get a trust system started. I believe that everyone is deserving of a safe space and love, and I would be proud of being the one to help uphold that.
My Qualifications
I have a P2 in child development. This is my only qualification in this field, however have also studied animal management at college which strengthened my attention to detail and body language. Also currently studying Zoology with Herpetology as an undergraduate at Bangor Uni, further strengthening a love for anything alive, attention to detail and understanding body language.
My Availability
I am available at all times all days. I am enrolled in university, however I can work around when im needed. If needed I can do uni work and revision during times when constant supervision is not required like sleeping. I am open to extra hours as long as they are communicated, and would love to meet new people.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.21 per hour
Just the simple minimum wage for ages 21 and over.
