My thoughtfully designed environment brings this philosophy to life.
Indoors: Warm and carefully selected toys encourage imagination, problem solving, and hands on learning, all guided by my Montessori inspired approach.
Outdoors: A large play area becomes a world of discovery! From mud kitchen and water play to sand castles, bug finding adventures and dirt digging. Every space is created to spark wonder, encourage exploration, and let little hands and minds grow naturally.
With the perfect balance of gentle guidance and boundless opportunities to learn through play, your child will naturally begin to ‘Stretch and Grow’… stepping into BIG shoes from ‘tiny’ ones!

My Experience
I have been qualified in childcare and education since 1999. I have extensive experience supporting children across a variety of settings, including private day nurseries, mainstream schools and specialist schools for children with additional educational needs. As a parent of three, I also bring the invaluable insight that comes from raising children firsthand.
I am passionate about creating a warm, nurturing environment, where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to explore and learn. I believe that each child is unique and thrives when given patience, understanding, and encouragement to develop confidence, independence, and curiosity at their own pace.
I am often described as kind, thoughtful, patient, caring, and fun. Qualities I believe are essential in building strong, trusting relationships with both children and their families.
Alongside my Level 3 qualification, I hold a full Paediatric First Aid certificate and a Level 2 certificate in Understanding Specific Learning Difficulties. Equipping me to support children with a wide range of individual needs.
At Stretch and Grow, my aim is to provide a caring and supportive environment where little hearts and minds blossom naturally.

NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education

My Availability
I am open to flexibility where possible. Can be open on Sundays if required.
I mainly operate Monday to Friday 08:00 - 18:00 term time only.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
I charge an hourly rate of £8.00

I couldn't be happier with the care my little boy receives. He started with her when he was just 4 months old, so naturally I was quite anxious about leaving him so young. She made the whole transition so much easier with her kindness, professionalism, and reassurance.
She has been incredibly flexible with my unusual work schedule, which has been such a huge help. Every day he comes home smiling, happy, and clearly well looked after, which gives me complete peace of mind.
One of the things I appreciate most is the regular photos, videos, and updates throughout the day. It's so reassuring to see what he's been up to, what he's eaten, and how he's getting on. It really helps you feel connected, even when you're apart.
She is warm, caring, reliable, and genuinely invested in the children she looks after. I feel very lucky to have found her, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and nurturing childminder.

It has been such a pleasure caring for your little boy from such a young age. I know how daunting it can be leaving your baby in someone else’s care, so I’m incredibly grateful for the trust you’ve placed in me from the very beginning.
Watching him grow and develop has been such a joy and I’m so pleased that the daily photos, videos and updates help you feel connected and give you peace of mind.

Rahena is exactly what our daughter needed as she struggled with separation anxiety. Nura warmed to her gentle and calming nature from the start.
Rahena approached Nura with great patience and offered constant cuddles to settle her.
I felt at ease whilst Nura was in Rahena’s care as she has consistently kept up communications about Nura’s well being throughout the day.
She has also taken on board any requests that I have made with regard to Nura’s care and tried to implement to the best of her ability.
Our daughter is now happily playing and there is no end to the variety of activities that Nura engages in.
It is clear that Rahena has given a lot of thought into creating the perfect environment for little ones to be stimulated and to flourish.
Rahena comes with my highest recommendation as she is very easy going and accommodating when dealing with us as parents and also very nurturing and caring towards our daughter.

I met Raheena face to face last week for a stay and play session. Raheena was very pro-active in having a wide variety of activities available and encourage child led engagement so she could identity the best way to understand and support my son. Raheena was very open and honest during our discussion about the setting, skills amd abilities.
My son is 8 years old and has ASD as well as some other additional needs. During our conversation and seeing her interact with my son, it is very clear Raheena has extensive knowledge and experience in which she applies in her practice.
My son is currently going through his settling in transition, and is engaging in so many different activities that support his learning and independence.
Raheena has a lot of valuable resources to support the children with routine and structure. I highly recommend Raheena :)
