About Me
I'm 33 years old and currently live in great Barr. I have an 8 year old son and work in a school with special needs children. My son is not currently attending school as he requires a sen school as main stream cannot provide the level of support he requires.
My Requirements
I require a child minder who has experience and confidence im working with special needs children, particularly ASD and challenging behaviour. My son requires someone with a playful and energetic nature, he does not cope with firm or strict people. I would need someone available Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays 8am-4:30pm during term time. My son is verbal and can complete age appropriate work. A child minder who is able to complete educational activities would be desirable, however not essential. I will require a child minder for several months whilst trying to find my son a school placement, however this is currently proving to be a very long process.

I met Raheena face to face last week for a stay and play session. Raheena was very pro-active in having a wide variety of activities available and encourage child led engagement so she could identity the best way to understand and support my son. Raheena was very open and honest during our discussion about the setting, skills amd abilities.
My son is 8 years old and has ASD as well as some other additional needs. During our conversation and seeing her interact with my son, it is very clear Raheena has extensive knowledge and experience in which she applies in her practice.
My son is currently going through his settling in transition, and is engaging in so many different activities that support his learning and independence.
Raheena has a lot of valuable resources to support the children with routine and structure. I highly recommend Raheena :)

My little boy has been with Momtaz for a month so far and I am more than happy with the care provided. Momtaz sends me photos throughout the day of all the activities she provides for the children and ensures my little boy is included in socialising and participating with the other children. Momtaz has been more than happy to accommodate any requests I have asked in regards to my child's needs and has also been supportive in offering any advice. My little boy loves seeing momtaz, her husband and children and is always excited to go there. I feel very at ease whilst at work knowing my child is in safe hands 😊
