About Me
Hi my name is Momtaz and I am an ofsted registered childminder called Little Explorers Childminding. I had a recent ofstead inspection as GOOD and was part of the councils promotion Campain to raise awareness for free 30 hours childcare provided by Childminder’s and was featured on all Sandwell buses.
I provide quality childcare in a fun, friendly, safe, clean and caring home from home environment. I live in a semidetached house just opposit Lodge Primary School on Oak Lane, westbromwich. I am married with 3 children aged 7, 13 and 15. I recently converted my garage in to nursery which is fully equipped with all age range toys.
I have a wide range of appropriate toys, books and activities available for babies and children. I also have NVQ level 3 in childcare and have worked in schools Previously for 8 years. I have worked with children with special needs and have a vast amount of Experience working with children, and can support your child to develop skills in line with the EYFS eg phonic’s sounds, maths English and support after school children with reading and Home work.
In addition to that children will have the opportunity ( with parents permission) to visit baby and toddler groups, parks, farms, libraries, nature trails and the oak house museum which is down the road from my house.
I provide healthy snacks and drinks to the children.
I offer two and three year old funding and currently have spaces available. I also provide school pick up and drop off to school in B70 area.
My Experience
I have an NVQ level 3 in childcare and have been working in main stream schools for the last 8 years. I have worked with children with special needs from the age of birth up until the age of 12 years old. I have good knowledge of the EYFS. My planing involves long term, mid term and short term, keeping the children’s interest in mind.

I am currently only available from 8am till 5 pm Monday to Thursday. I provide 2 and 3 years old funding

My fees are based on individual needs, please get in contact with me to discuss this further as it can also be negotiable. After school charges are on a different rate.

After being off for 16 months on maternity leave, returning to work was a big step for me. Having Momtaz supporting us has made the transition so much easier and far less stressful.
Momtaz has been wonderful with my child from day one. She keeps them busy with all kinds of activities — indoors, outdoors, creative play, and little adventures that they absolutely love. It’s clear she really cares, and my child always comes home happy.
I’ve seen such a positive change in their confidence since being with Momtaz. She understands their personality, what makes them feel comfortable, and how to support them in a gentle, encouraging way. Knowing my child is safe, settled, and genuinely enjoying their time with her has given me so much peace of mind as I returned to work.
I’m truly grateful for everything Momtaz has done for us. Her support has made a huge difference to both me and my child, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone kinder or more reliable.

As a first time mum, leaving my baby with someone new in an unknown environment has never made me so anxious! However, this feeling didn't last long as Momtaz sends updates and pictures everyday! I just love clicking on her chat because it now shows a learning journal for my son from when he started Little Explorers to today. It is so beautiful and heartwarming to see him
happy, enjoying the setting and most importantly settled! He is now excited to go to the childminders and is eager to enter the door!!
Momtaz does a range of activities with the children and has recently taken them to the library and local stay and play groups. Being a first time mum and now being back at work part time, it is easy to feel guilty that my son is missing out on these experiences. However, Momtaz ensures that the children get a variety of learning experiences in her care and I really appreciate that. My son has really warmed to Momtaz as she is naturally caring, loving and gentle.
I would highly recommend this childminder for your children.

Thank you for the lovely feed back it’s so nice when parents are satisfied with the service I provide.
I just don't know where to start, no words can describe Momtaz's service. My daughter started attending when she was just over a year old. As you can imagine, I was so scared and skeptical to send her to a nursery this young. I contacted Momtaz and she invited me to see her house before agreeing to anything. She put my mind at ease right from the start which really helped my decision. I can still remember the 1st day I dropped my daughter, Momtaz could see I was very upset and she reassured me that she will be fine. That day and there after Momtaz sent me photos and updates to let me know what they were doing during the day and what she ate etc. Momtaz does various activities and takes my daughter to library and other playgroups. I seriously could not have asked for anyone better. She is so nurturing and takes very good care of my daughter. Thanks a million Taz x
