About Me

Hi, I'm Olivia, friends and family also call me Liv. I'm 30, and live in Witney with my now husband Elliot and our two gorgeous doggos, a whippet and a collipoo. Elliot and I have been together for 10 years, lived together for 8 years and finally tied the knot in September 2025.

I was born in London and moved to North Oxford in 2003, attending St Aloysius School and then Cherwell School. I have one older sister, whom has recently been blessed with a baby boy - my first nephew - and I absolutely adore him!

I have two great passions in life, filming weddings and caring for others, particularly the young and vulnerable. And I have owned and run a photography and videography company located in the Cotswolds for the past 10 years, called The Lens People.

Bit more about me…I am a huge fan of the television show Always Sunny in Philadelphia, my favourite band is called the Little Comets and I may or may not be obsessed with the colour yellow.

My Experience

I am a very proud aunty to my 6 month old nephew, and love the opportunity to care for him at any available moment. So far I have helped with multiple nightshifts and cared for him alone when mum (my sister) is out of the house for some personal recharge time. I adore children, always have, and love watching them grow and develop.

Over the last two years I have worked with young vulnerable adults in SEND as a Learning Support Assistant, where I have learnt the importance of clear and concise communication with students. When supporting in the classroom, I adapted my approach according to the needs of individual students; breaking down tasks into manageable chunks and checking understanding at each stage of the activity.

And ten years ago I had the incredible pleasure and joy to work as a private nanny for a lovely Swedish family of six (all boys aged 4, 8, 11, and 15) for just over a year whilst the parents were working for Oxford University. My role in the family was mainly to look after their youngest son with autism (aged 4). The parents wanted someone who could help keep him to a schedule, as well as going through school work and aiding him with other tasks he struggled with such as learning to use the toilet. I usually worked 3 days a week and a normal day would be as follows. Pick up the two younger boys from primary school and take them to the park for an hour before heading back to their home. At home I would change the youngest’s diaper and put him in fresh clothes before preparing him a snack, as well as the older boys, if they were hungry. Usually the three older boys got on with their homework whilst I helped the youngest with his and once we had finished we would get the train set out and play for an hour or so. Later I would prepare and serve dinner, give the youngest a bath and get him ready and tucked into bed after which I would give the downstairs a quick clean. The parents usually arrived home around 9pm. I absolutely loved working for them and adored their boys. I had a particularly great bond with their youngest and I believe his parents noticed it too, often asking me to take him to swimming or even birthday parties so they would have some quiet time with the older boys. I would have loved to have worked for them longer, but sadly they moved back to Sweden after the parents' year long contract with the University had finished.
