My Summary
About Me
Hello, my name is Sadia, and I am a warm, reliable and highly creative childcare professional with over 10 years of experience caring for children from babies through to early primary age. I have worked as a Nursery Manager, nanny and babysitter, giving me a strong understanding of children’s development, routines, wellbeing, behaviour, confidence-building and individual learning needs.
As a Nursery Manager, I have led safe, nurturing and stimulating childcare settings while working closely with families and staff to maintain high standards of care. I also have excellent experience organising children’s parties, special events, themed activities and beautiful food displays, creating joyful, memorable and meaningful experiences for children and their families.
I am passionate about helping children learn through play. I love planning creative and engaging activities such as arts and crafts, storytelling, music, sensory play, outdoor adventures, role play, messy play, cooking activities and educational games. Through these experiences, I encourage independence, autonomy, curiosity, communication, imagination, problem-solving and self-confidence.
As a nanny and babysitter, I bring warmth, patience, professionalism and a calm, positive approach into the home. I enjoy helping children settle into routines, develop good manners, build self-care skills and express themselves with confidence. I believe in gentle encouragement, clear boundaries and creating a happy, secure atmosphere where children feel safe, valued and excited to learn.
I am also SENCO Level 3 trained, giving me valuable knowledge and understanding of how to support children with additional needs, different learning styles and individual developmental requirements. I am confident in adapting activities, routines and communication to help every child feel included, understood and able to thrive.
I am known for being caring, organised, attentive and trustworthy. I build strong, respectful relationships with both children and parents, and I understand how important it is for families to feel fully reassured that their child is in safe, capable and nurturing hands.
I hold an Enhanced DBS check, Paediatric First Aid training, an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and SENCO Level 3 training. I am truly passionate about helping children thrive and supporting families with dependable, high-quality and loving care.
