Sofia
Babysitter in Windsor
My Summary
About Me
Firstly, Im a mum of two older children (17 and 12) who are in grammar school in Surrey.
I have a 17 year healthcare background, offering warm, flexible support for families who need an extra pair of hands from time to time.
This could be helpful if:
your child can’t go to school, nursery or holiday club
you need time to rest, work, or catch up on life admin or parental fatigue ie
you’re feeling exhausted or overwhelmed
you want calm, kind support for your child, including if they are neurodivergent
My preference is ad hoc care where the child comes to flat in Old Windsor, and I plan a lovely day around them.
This could include drawing, reading, library visits, playgrounds, river walks, feeding ducks, skate park trips, nature walks, homework help, and other simple local outings, depending on what child is used to in their day to day.
I’m happy to keep costs sensible and discuss what would work best for your family.
Please message me for a friendly chat.
My Experience
I have many many years of hands-on single parenting experience across different stages of childhood. Through both my own family life and my background in healthcare, I have developed a calm, caring and practical approach to supporting children and families.
I am comfortable helping with children of different ages, personalities and needs, including neurodivergent children, and I understand that every child responds best to patience, flexibility and kindness.
I am confident creating calm, engaging days that can be tailored to the child, whether that means quiet time drawing and reading, support with books or homework, or getting the bus , train locally or a day trip to London, outdoors for local walks, playgrounds and simple activities to make them feel seen, heard, and loved.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
I understand that family life can sometimes be far more complex than it looks from the outside. I have personal experience of supporting a child through mental health struggles, and I know how exhausting it can be when a parent is constantly having to fight for understanding, the right support, and their child’s needs to be properly recognised. I also understand the emotional weight that can come with grief, overwhelm and simply trying to keep going. Because of this, I bring a gentle, non-judgemental and understanding approach, and I aim to offer support that helps both children and parents feel safe, heard and less alone.
Fees from £20 per hour for ad hoc childcare and family support.
Rates may vary depending on hours, number of children, outings, and level of support required.
