About Me
My name is Angel and I live in the borough of Greenwich, Eltham.
I am a fun, enthusiastic and reliable individual who believes every child in the care of a nanny/babysitter should be able to have fun, form a trusting bond and feel comfortable and secure. I understand every child is different in terms of their needs and backgrounds and I am openminded in this way.
Every child should be treated individually using a holistic approach in my opinion and I would make sure your child/children feel engaged and occupied this may be through helping them learn, playing games together etc- whatever the child is happiest and able to do.
I am trained in pediatric first aid and lots of other training programmes for example ‘prevent’ being one of them.
With my years of knowledge studying health and social care/ child development in secondary school and sixth form and going on to study social work at university my main aim being to work with children and their families;I believe I have the determination and values for you and your child/children.
My Experience
I currently work at a Montessori nursery with babies all the way to 4 year old children, I have worked here for 2 years and I am now 18, I have lots of experience with SEN children also.
I have experience volunteering in primary schools and also my mum is a childminder herself therefore I’ve learnt a lot about it growing up.
My Qualifications
I passed all of my GCSES including English, maths and science and I also achieved A- levels at sixth form.
I am first aid trained following a course done through my nursery and some other bits of training an example is ‘prevent’. I am going on to do my social work degree to be a qualified social worker in September.
