About Me
Hi! I’m a friendly, reliable and caring babysitter currently in my final year of university studying to become a primary school teacher. I’m passionate about supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing, and I love creating a safe, fun and engaging environment for them.
As a parent myself, I understand how important it is to have someone trustworthy and nurturing looking after your children. I’m happy to help with a range of needs including playtime, homework support, bedtime routines and light household tasks.
My Experience
I have a strong background working with children of different ages and abilities. I have completed 20 weeks of placement in primary schools as part of my degree, where I planned lessons, supported learning and managed classroom behaviour.
In addition, I have:
• Volunteered as a learning assistant in a primary school
• Hands-on experience as a mum of two daughters
• Worked in healthcare, including experience at the Royal Hospital for Children in Edinburgh
This has given me valuable skills in communication, patience, and caring for children in a variety of situations.
My Qualifications
• PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) – working with children
• Training and experience in first aid through healthcare work
• Currently completing a Primary Teaching Degree
My Availability
I offer flexible availability and will do my best to accommodate your family’s needs.
I’m also able to help with school drop-offs and pick-ups, particularly if your child attends the same school as mine (happy to discuss details).
My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
My babysitting rates start from £10 per hour, depending on requirements, number of children, and hours needed.
