My name is Leah, and I am a fully qualified Primary School Teacher with a strong passion for supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing.
Alongside my professional background, I have worked with children of all ages in a variety of settings and have also provided babysitting for a number of families over several years. This has helped me develop a calm, adaptable, and nurturing approach, while building strong relationships with both children and parents.
I have recently returned from travelling across South East Asia and Australia, which has strengthened my independence, confidence, and ability to adapt to new situations. I bring these qualities into my work, along with strong organisational skills, reliability, and a proactive attitude.
Coming from a large family, I naturally enjoy spending time with children and regularly care for my niece and nephew. This has deepened my understanding of the importance of patience, creativity, and creating a fun, safe, and supportive environment.
I pride myself on being approachable, flexible, and attentive to each child’s individual needs, and I enjoy working closely with families to provide the best possible care.

My Experience
I have over 9 years of experience working within a nursery setting, where I developed a strong understanding of early years development and care. During this time, I took on additional responsibilities including Deputy Manager, SENCo, Safeguarding Lead, Fire Officer, and Room Lead, which strengthened my leadership, organisation, and safeguarding knowledge.
I am also a fully qualified Primary School Teacher, where I have worked closely with children with a wide range of needs and abilities. I have experience adapting lessons to support all learners, ensuring each child feels included, supported, and able to reach their full potential. This has developed my creativity, patience, and ability to tailor my approach to suit individual children.
In addition, I have worked in a crèche and children’s club for 3 and a half years, as well as at a summer camp in America, giving me valuable experience working in a variety of environments and with children from diverse backgrounds.
I have also provided babysitting for various families over a number of years, building strong, trusting relationships and supporting children within their home environment.
Overall, I have experience working with children from birth up to 16 years old, allowing me to confidently adapt my approach to meet each child’s individual needs.
