About Me
Hi, I'm Erin. I'm a mum of a 10 year old boy who attends boarding school in Oxford. I have worked with children since I was a teenager, as a nanny and an au pair, as a piano teacher, and running choirs for children in and out of school. I love helping children to grow and learn, and to navigate the various challenges of childhood. My experience spans most age ranges, from newborns right through to teenagers!
My Experience
As a teenager, I worked as an au pair near Milan looking after a 4 year old, and I worked as a nanny for a family in Gloucestershire with 2 children, a boy and a girl. I looked after them between the ages of 5 and 12, including getting them up and dressed in the morning, preparing their packed lunches, taking them to school and picking them up, taking them to after school clubs, helping them with their homework, making their dinner, and getting them ready for bed. I have taught children between the ages of 6 and 16 to play piano, violin, and to sing, and I have led choirs for children from age 6. My own son has additional needs including autism and a serious congenital heart condition, so I'm really comfortable working with neurodivergence, and confident dealing with medications and medical emergencies.
My Qualifications
Emergency First Aid. I have a Psychology degree, with a full year of study dedicated to childhood development.
My Availability
My son has evensongs at Christ Church Cathedral in Oxford city centre on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings at 6pm-7pm, and I can take him out of school on Saturdays and Sundays between 12.30 and 4. I would like to be able to go to at least a few of the evensongs each week and take him out on the weekend, but I'm very flexible in terms of which ones I do and would otherwise be free all the time.

- Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
- Nannying from £13.00 per hour (gross)
