My Summary

My Experience

I have practical babysitting experience caring for my niece from birth to five years old. I supported her daily routines including feeding, playtime, naps, and bedtime, always making sure she felt safe, loved, and well cared for.

I have also cared for a baby aged six to twelve months, helping with feeding, nappy changes, naps, and gentle, age-appropriate play in a calm and nurturing way.

Alongside this, I worked in a children’s camp in Germany in 2017 as a children’s mentor, where I supported and guided children during daily activities, helped supervise group time, and contributed to creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment.

This experience is especially helpful in my babysitting because it taught me how to confidently care for children in both one-to-one and group settings, understand different personalities and needs, and stay calm, attentive, and responsible at all times. It also strengthened my ability to engage children in positive activities, support routines, and ensure they feel safe, included, and happy.

I also have professional experience supporting vulnerable individuals and families, which has helped me develop strong communication skills, patience, and a deep sense of responsibility and care for others.

My Qualifications

I do not currently hold formal childcare qualifications; however, I have hands-on experience caring for young children and an up-to-date DBS check.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree (UK equivalent) in Technical Electrochemistry and Electrochemical Power Engineering.

I also bring wider experience from professional support work and international childcare-related environments, which has strengthened my sense of responsibility, communication skills, and care for others.

My Availability

I offer morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight childcare support. I am very flexible across weekdays and weekends Monday to Sunday. If you need me, I will do my best to be there.

I am happy to support your usual routines, provide overnight care and reassurance if a child wakes, and help maintain a safe and calm environment throughout the day or night.
