About Me
Hello! I’m Ella, a part-time teaching assistant, looking for some additional work. I am passionate about supporting children, primarily those of primary school age or older. With lots of experience running afterschool activities and holiday clubs, I love to come up with games, crafts and activities to get the children involved and outside. I am also a huge animal lover and happy to help with your furry friends too!
My Experience
I currently work in a primary school from 8am–2pm, which means I’m available for afternoons, evenings, occasionally weekends, and school holidays.
I work with children every day, supporting a range of ages and needs through 1:1 support, small group work, and classroom assistance. My role has given me strong skills in communication, patience, organisation, and creating a safe, positive environment for children to thrive.
Additionally, I have experience in SEN care and mental health support, along with strong organisational skills. I am first aid trained, have an up to date DBS, and am always looking for new courses to broaden my knowledge (including ones in epilepsy, dysphasia and EAL).
My Qualifications
I have achieved Level 3 qualifications in Psychology, Law and Criminology.
