Hi! I am a second-year student at the University of St Andrews looking to babysit in the local area. I am reliable, organised, and empathetic—traits that extend into my capacity for work. I truly love spending time with children as I thrive in nurturing roles. As both a creative and academic person, I love organising activities such as reading, arts and crafts, imaginative play, and generally encouraging growth and fun in a caring environment.
My Experience
Throughout my time at school I consistently looked after younger children, both as a monitor and mentor—roles which blended both responsibility and authority, as well as coaching and education. I established both a creative writing club and an equality club which each created environments which cultivated care and kindness. As their leader, I learned to manage others’ needs and encourage their development. Most of all, I developed a great sense of confidence and adaptability as a carer and mentor.
My Qualifications
Currently working towards my degree MA (Hons) English at the University of St Andrews.
My Availability
I am available any time! Mandatory classes end this week and after that I am entirely flexible.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
£12 an hour but willing to discuss!
