About Me

I’m a caring, calm nanny who loves outdoor play and creating meaningful, child-led experiences. I support children through gentle guidance, creativity, and plenty of time exploring nature. With a patient approach and a focus on emotional safety, I help little ones grow in confidence, curiosity, and independence while keeping their days joyful, grounded, and secure

My Experience

I have several years of experience supporting children across nursery settings, nanny roles, and home-education environments. I’ve worked as a nanny for children aged 5–12, providing calm, consistent care that balances outdoor play, creative activities, and gentle learning. I enjoy planning days that follow children’s interests, helping them build confidence, independence, and emotional awareness.

I spent a year working in a nursery setting, supporting children through the early stages of development, routine, and play. During this time, I worked closely with children aged 2–5, helping them feel safe, settled, and confident in a busy environment. My role included guiding children through daily routines, supporting early communication, encouraging independence, and creating opportunities for sensory, creative, and outdoor play.

I developed a strong understanding of child?led learning, emotional regulation, and the importance of secure attachments in early childhood. I’m confident supporting children through transitions, managing group dynamics with calm consistency, and tuning into the small cues that show how a child is feeling before they can express it verbally. This experience shaped my gentle, responsive approach and strengthened my belief in giving children space to explore, express themselves, and grow at their own pace.

Alongside this, I work as a home-education facilitator with children aged 6–14 in Batheaston Tuesday,Wednesday, and Thursday ,supporting child-led learning through nature exploration, hands?on projects, and creative thinking. I’m confident adapting activities to different ages and learning styles, creating a grounded, supportive environment where children feel safe, understood, and free to express themselves.

My approach across all roles is patient, nurturing, and responsive. I focus on emotional safety, meaningful connection, and giving children the space to grow at their own pace.

My Qualifications

I hold a BA in Early Childhood Studies from Bath Spa University, where I developed a strong foundation in child development, play-based learning, and early years practice. I also completed an MSc in Education for a Sustainable Environment, graduating with a First from the University of Manchester. This has shaped my nature-led, environmentally conscious approach to childcare and learning.

I have completed a week-long Land Skills course, which strengthened my confidence in outdoor education, practical nature?based activities, and supporting children to connect meaningfully with the natural world. I am also currently enrolled in a self-directed online learning course, continuing to deepen my understanding of child?led education, emotional development, and creative, holistic approaches to learning.

Alongside my academic background, I bring hands-on experience across nursery work, nannying, and home?education facilitation. I’m confident creating safe, nurturing environments, supporting emotional regulation, and adapting learning to different ages and needs.

My Availability

Childcare Requirements

I’m looking for a role that allows me to offer calm, child-led care with plenty of outdoor play, creativity, and meaningful learning experiences. I’m confident supporting children’s emotional wellbeing, daily routines, and independence, and I work best in families who value gentle guidance, open communication, and a grounded, respectful approach to childcare.

Tutoring & Learning Support

I’m experienced in supporting children aged 5–14 with both structured and child-led learning. This includes help with reading, writing, project?based learning, creative tasks, and nature?based education. I’m comfortable adapting activities to different ages and learning styles, and I enjoy helping children build confidence, curiosity, and a genuine love of learning.

Household Requirements

I’m happy to support light household tasks that relate directly to the children — such as preparing meals for the family, tidying play areas, organising activities, and helping maintain a calm, welcoming environment. I work best in homes that value mutual respect, clear communication, and a balanced approach to shared responsibilities. I’m not really looking for roles that require heavy cleaning or extensive household management, as my focus is on high?quality childcare and learning support. But would be open to it for the right family.
