My Experience

I am an experienced and highly passionate educator with a strong background in childcare, teaching and child development across multiple countries and educational systems.

I have over 16 years of experience as a swimming instructor in a professional swimming school, working with children of all ages and abilities. I also gained valuable international experience in the United States through the Work and Travel programme, where I worked with children in a childcare and supervisory role in a different cultural environment.

Alongside this, I have worked as a private tutor, supporting children academically and helping them build confidence in their learning.

I have led skiing courses as a course leader, teaching children how to ski while ensuring their safety, wellbeing and enjoyment in a structured outdoor environment. I have also worked as a swimming course leader and participated in residential outdoor education programmes and “schools in nature”, where I was responsible for groups of children over several days.

After graduating from Masaryk University in Brno, I worked for 8 years as a Senior Teacher at an international school in the Czech Republic. During this time, I also led extracurricular activities, including a traditional folk dance and singing group, supporting children’s creativity, confidence and cultural awareness.

Following my move to the United Kingdom, I have worked as a Supply Teacher in primary schools across East Sussex, gaining further insight into the UK education system and adapting quickly to different school environments.

I consider myself a highly dedicated, reflective and enthusiastic educator who is committed to continuous professional development. I am also a mother, and this has further deepened my understanding of early childhood development, attachment and the importance of a calm, nurturing and emotionally secure environment.

I read extensively about child development, education and psychology, and I continuously seek to expand my knowledge in order to provide the highest quality care and learning experiences for children.

My approach is warm, child-centred and responsive, combining strong professional experience with genuine passion for supporting children to thrive.

8 years’ experience as a Senior Teacher in an international school (Czech Republic)
Paediatric First Aid Certificate (in progress / or completed – uprav podle reality)
Enhanced DBS check (valid)

I am also continuously engaged in professional development in the areas of child development, early years education, psychology and learning through play.

My Availability

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour

My hourly rate is £9–£10 per hour depending on hours and requirements.

I offer a very small, home-based childcare setting with a strong focus on individual attention, emotional wellbeing and a calm, nurturing environment rather than a large nursery-style setting.

Discounted rates may be available for regular or longer-term bookings.
