My Experience

Growing up in a vibrant, family oriented community, and as a member of a large family myself, I have extensive experience in providing childcare for children from 1 yo through early secondary school. During my undergraduate studies, I routinely met the childcare needs of four different families, all with 4+ children of varied ages. As a secondary school teacher, I have experience working with children from diverse backgrounds, providing academic support, and employing a calm, trauma-informed approach to children's social-emotional needs.

Knowing the beauty of a wonder-filled childhood, I never arrive to a babysitting job without a collection of my favorite children's books, arts and crafts, and activities to spark creativity!

My Qualifications

-8+ years of childcare experience both in-home and in school environments
-Active, creative, sensitive, and responsible
-5+ years experience as a tutor
-Experience teaching a self-contained classroom of 13 students
