About Me

Hello,
I am a caring, creative, animated individual trained as a Primary school teacher with QTS. I have up to 20 years experience teaching in and outside of a school setting. My specialism is in the Early Years Foundation Stage and KS1. My approach to teaching includes a holistic, hands on approach often combined with a systematic approach. I am an Educator who tutors individual and groups of pupils, including home educated children.

I am focused on the 'whole child'—meeting learners at their current developmental stage. Using my experience in emotional regulation and coaching to unlock potential and build confidence.

My Experience

My teaching roles have varied, teaching across Nursery to Year 3. I have also taken on leadership and management duties which included, being an EYFS, Behaviour, SEAL (Social Emotional Aspects of Learning) and PSHE Lead.

Teaching children to access the power of their mind, encouraging a Growth Mindset and using the Power of Yet to help them navigate obstacles is something that is incorporated within the lessons I teach.

My main aim is fostering a safe and happy environment so children can take risks, engage deeply and shine, both academically and personally!

My Qualifications

- Diploma in Life Coaching with Distinction, Blackford Centre for Life Coaching
- Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) Primary, Institute of Education, University of London
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- BA History (hons) 2:1 , School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS)

My Fees

Academic and Professional Consultations EYFS Students/ECT £50 ph

Group tutoring (of up to 6 children) - Prices Vary
1:1 Tutoring - £60 ph
For 3-5 year olds - £45 for 45 min

Please note that tutoring for younger children will combine EYFS teaching methods that are more hands on and play based, depending on the child's needs.
