My Experience

I am a highly experienced qualified teacher (QTS), senior leader and qualified SENDCo with a Master’s Degree in Inclusive Education.

I specialise in Primary and 11+ tutoring, supporting children from Early Years to KS4 in Maths, English, Reading, Writing and Phonics, alongside SATs and entrance exam preparation for 11+.

I have a strong track record of helping children make rapid progress, including supporting students to move from below expected levels to successfully passing statutory assessments, as well as helping children working at the expected standard to achieve greater depth and exceed age-related expectations. Alongside academic improvement, I focus on building confidence, resilience and independence so children feel empowered in their learning.

Having taught across ambitious schools in London and the South East, I understand how to personalise learning so children feel confident, capable and motivated to succeed.

With a creative background including previous work at the BBC, I bring an engaging and imaginative approach to tutoring, using children’s interests to make learning enjoyable and memorable.

I am also a qualified yoga teacher and incorporate mindfulness and emotional regulation strategies where appropriate, helping children manage anxiety, improve focus and build confidence.

My sessions are warm, supportive and tailored to each child’s individual learning style, ensuring they make strong progress whilst genuinely enjoying learning.
