I specialise in English with a focus on developing children's reading, comprehension, listening, vocabulary, grammar, and developing confident, purposeful writers. I am passionate about helping children build strong foundations, grow in confidence, and grow a genuine love of reading and writing.

My Experience

I am a qualified primary school teacher with 8 years of experience supporting children across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 as a classroom teacher and as a Phonics and SATs booster tutor. I also have several years of experience working with children aged 3-14 in the context of the local church and summer camps. I aim to build a safe learning environment for all children. I have an enhanced DBS certificate, available upon request.

My Qualifications

I hold a PGCE from the University of Manchester and a First Class degree in English Literature and Linguistics from the University of York.
