About Me
Highly energetic, friendly and bubbly are all words used to describe me. I grew up in a large family surrounded by children and spent a decent amount of it running after my little siblings and entertaining them.
I love working with children and believe that helping them find entertainment that isn’t overstimulating and lets them build their creative skills is key to helping them develop their individuality. I love art and creating things with my hands and the time I’ve spent with children tells me they do too! So I’ve had the chance to do little workshops with neighbours kids and at festivals to keep them while parents get a chance to rest. I bring all of my own supplies too so there’s no worries about extra cost or mess!
My Experience
I’ve had more than a decade of hands on experience helping with childcare with my own siblings and cousins. This entailed things like nappy-changing, feeding, getting them ready for school and picking them up, entertainment, and putting them to bed.
Outside of family, I’ve had the chance to run a live portrait booth at markets to do doodle portraits of children and ran a small doodle booth workshop at the Carterton day fete this year that gave children the chance to draw their own portraits to take home. I’ve also provided tutoring for children between the ages of 6 - 14 years old while I studied at university so have experience in tutoring English and Maths.
My Qualifications
I have a degree in paramedical sciences so I have all the first aid and emergency medicine based covered :)!
For tutoring / art club - I received 8 GCSEs at A* including Maths, English literature and Language and Art. A Levels - A* English Literature, A Chemistry, B Biology.
My Availability
Saturdays are potentially busy with markets and festivals but most days are free at the moment!
My Fees
- Babysitting from £16.00 per hour
Regular babysitting rates are £16/h. My out of school art club/ tutoring rates are £20 -£25 depending on the activity we do on the day and this can be discussed and parents will receive a digital pack with the details of the day’s programme.
