My Experience

I have been caring for children since I was 15 years old in Brazil, looking after children from newborns to 12 years old. During my PhD in the United States, I also worked as a babysitter to help support my living costs, gaining even more hands-on experience caring for children in different family environments and routines.

Before and during university, I worked in a nursery for over six years, caring for children and supporting their routines, learning, playtime, and emotional wellbeing. These experiences helped me develop strong childcare skills, patience, responsibility, and a natural ability to connect with children of different ages and personalities.

As a mother myself, I understand the importance of trust, safety, kindness, and creating a warm and caring environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and happy.

My Qualifications

I have many years of hands-on childcare experience, caring for children from infants to 12 years old since I was 15. In Brazil, I worked as a babysitter for different families, supporting children with daily routines, playtime, meals, and care in a safe and nurturing environment.

Before and during university, I worked in a nursery for over six years, helping care for children, supporting learning through play, routines, emotional wellbeing, and creating a warm and engaging environment for development.

During my PhD in the United States, I also worked as a babysitter while studying, which gave me additional experience caring for children in different family environments and adapting to each child’s needs and routine.

I currently work at a university as a Lab Manager and hold a PhD in Science, which reflects my responsibility, organisation, patience, and reliability. As a mother myself, I understand the importance of trust, safety, kindness, and creating a caring environment where children feel happy, comfortable, and supported.

My Availability

I am available all day from Friday to Sunday. During the week, I am available for school drop-offs and pick-ups, after-school care, late afternoons, evenings, and night babysitting. I’m happy to help with routines, playtime, meals, homework support, and bedtime, while creating a safe, caring, and calm environment for children.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £17.00 per hour

* £17–18/h weekend/evening
