My Experience

I have a strong, varied background in childcare and educational support. My experience began as an after-school care assistant, where I supervised children aged 4 to 11, ensuring their safety, managing activities, and helping with reading and homework. More recently, I spent a year as a Learning Support Prefect at my secondary school, providing tailored, empathetic assistance to younger students. Additionally, as a tutoring assistant, I have helped students prepare for their 11+ exams, adapting my approach to suit different learning styles while building their confidence in English, maths, and reasoning.

My Qualifications

I hold a Red Cross first-aid certification, equipping me to confidently handle medical emergencies such as asthma attacks and seizures. Alongside this safety training, my practical experience includes supervising and running activities at an after-school club for children aged 4 to 11. I have actively guided students through their 11+ entrance exams in English, maths, and reasoning. I am well-versed in creating a safe, calm, and encouraging environment for young people.

My Availability

I am available Monday to Thursday from before school to after school as well as some evenings.
