My Summary
About Me
I am a kind, patient, and responsible person with a real passion for working with children. I always try to create a warm, safe, and positive environment where children feel comfortable, respected, and encouraged to express themselves freely. Parents often value my calm personality, creativity, and ability to connect naturally with children of different ages.
One of the things I enjoy most is designing fun and original activities that stimulate children’s imagination, curiosity, and confidence through play and hands-on experiences. I believe children learn best when they feel happy, motivated, and emotionally secure.
I am enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to supporting children’s emotional, social, and educational development in a caring and respectful way.
My Experience
I have extensive experience working with children of different ages in both educational and childcare settings. I have worked twice as an au pair abroad, which helped me develop strong communication, responsibility, and childcare skills in multicultural environments.
I spent one year in the Netherlands caring for an 8-year-old girl and a 3-year-old boy, supporting them in their daily routines, preparing activities, teaching Spanish and cooking for the family.
I also worked as an au pair in a small town in Italy, taking care of an 8-month-old baby and a 5-year-old girl. This experience allowed me to develop skills in baby care, emotional support, creative play, and adapting to the different needs and rhythms of each child.
In addition, I have around 5 years of experience as an educator and activity leader in school trips, holiday camps, and children’s programmes. My role included supervising groups of children, designing and leading educational and creative activities, encouraging teamwork and participation, and ensuring children’s safety and wellbeing at all times.
I also completed a European Voluntary Service (EVS) project in Kampala, where I worked with children and young people at risk of social exclusion. During this experience, I organised and led workshops focused on self-esteem, teamwork, emotional education, communication skills, and personal development. This experience strengthened my empathy, adaptability, and understanding of the emotional and social needs of children from different backgrounds.
Through all these experiences, I have become confident working with children of different ages and personalities, always aiming to create a fun, respectful, and nurturing environment where they can learn, grow, and feel happy and supported.
My Qualifications
I am currently studying Early Childhood Education at university, and the subjects I am most passionate about are Developmental Psychology and Teaching Methodologies. I am especially interested in active learning approaches such as Montessori and Reggio Emilia, which focus on respecting each child’s individual rhythm, needs, and interests while encouraging creativity, independence, and meaningful learning experiences.
