About Me

Hi, I'm Nabilah Basuki, currently doing my Master's in Early Child Development and Clinical Applications at UCL. As I aim to continue my education in the Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy Doctorate program, I am very keen to learn and gain more experience working with children and families through this nanny/babysitting opportunity.

I hold a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia, where I have a few experiences as an Assistant Psychologist at Soerojo Mental Hospital in Indonesia, where I helped to administer the intelligence test to children aged 7-15 under the supervision of the child psychologist. Aside from being an assistant psychologist, I have also established a small business called Happy Go, where I created a prompted daily planner to help people manage their activities and stay mindful. Within Happy Go, I managed to work with an NGO in Indonesia called Ubah Stigma as we held a journaling workshop guided by a psychologist to share about mindfulness involving first-year undergraduate students.

I have interesting hobbies and skills that might be helpful when working with children. I studied classical piano, so I might be able to help children learn and play basic piano, such as reading the music sheet. I have been practising yoga for more than 7 years, so I can help them stay active! I also learned basic for tennis for 2 years. Other than that, I like to paint, cook, bake, and make handicrafts! I also speak multiple languages, such as Bahasa Indonesia, French (A2 level), and German (A2 level).
