About Me

Hello! My name is Chloe and I have over 9 years of experience working with children and young people through childcare, education, babysitting, and private support roles.

I am a caring, patient, and reliable person who genuinely enjoys spending time with children and supporting families. I provide a warm, safe, and nurturing environment where children can feel comfortable being themselves. Whether your child enjoys being outdoors, getting creative, exploring new activities, visiting local attractions, or simply having someone calm and reassuring around, I always adapt my approach to their individual personality, interests, and needs.

I have extensive experience caring for babies, toddlers, children, and teenagers, including both neurotypical children and those with additional needs. Alongside my childcare experience, I work as a SEN Teaching Assistant in a specialist SEND school and have experience supporting children with autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, learning disabilities, communication differences, and emotional regulation needs. My approach is always child-led, patient, and understanding, ensuring every child feels valued, supported, and able to thrive.

I provide childcare and support within the family’s home and out in the community, but I do not offer childcare from my own home. I am happy to support with school drop-offs and pick-ups, community outings, appointments, activities, play opportunities, and maintaining routines within the home environment.

I offer flexible childcare including babysitting, nannying, daytime care, evening care, overnight stays, respite care, and SEN support. Whether you need an hour to attend an appointment, regular childcare around work commitments, overnight support, or longer-term assistance, I am happy to work around your family’s individual needs.

I hold first aid training, have business insurance on my car, and can transport children where required. I also always offer a meet-and-greet before regular bookings, giving children and families the opportunity to get to know me and feel comfortable. During childcare sessions, I provide regular updates and communication, helping parents feel reassured while they are away.

Outside of work, I enjoy walking, spending time with my dog, and being with family and friends. My goal is to help children feel safe, happy, and confident while giving parents peace of mind and reliable support. I pride myself on building strong, trusting relationships with families and providing flexible, high-quality care that fits around each family’s lifestyle and needs.

My Experience

I have over 9 years of experience working with children and young people in a variety of settings, including education, childcare, private family support, respite care, babysitting, and SEN support.

For the past five years, I have worked as a SEN Teaching Assistant in a specialist SEND school, supporting children and young people aged 4–16 with a wide range of needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, learning disabilities, communication differences, and behavioural challenges. This role has given me valuable experience in understanding each child as an individual and adapting support to help them feel safe, happy, and successful.

Alongside my school role, I have many years of experience providing private childcare, direct payment support, respite care, and personal assistant (PA) support for children and young people, both with and without additional needs. Much of this work has involved supporting children with SEND on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis within their homes and out in the community. This has included helping children access activities, build confidence, develop independence, regulate emotions, and enjoy experiences that are meaningful to them, while providing families with trusted and reliable support.

I have experience caring for babies, toddlers, children, and teenagers, supporting with everything from play and activities to feeding, bedtime routines, emotional regulation, personal care, outings, appointments, school runs, and overnight stays.

I have also worked in nursery and residential childcare settings, giving me experience across a wide range of ages and family circumstances.

I am Enhanced DBS checked, paediatric first aid trained, diabetes awareness trained, and have business insurance on my car, allowing me to safely transport children where required. I am also trained in safeguarding, behaviour support and de-escalation techniques, and have experience using Makaton, visual supports, and trauma-informed approaches.

Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy building positive relationships with children and their families. I aim to provide a safe, caring, and fun environment where children feel comfortable, valued, and supported, while giving parents peace of mind that their child is in caring and capable hands.

My Qualifications

I have over 9 years of experience working with children and young people across childcare, education, babysitting, respite care, and private family support.

Alongside my practical experience, I hold a Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care and have worked for the past five years as a SEN Teaching Assistant in a specialist SEND school. During this time, I have supported children and young people with a wide range of needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, learning disabilities, communication differences, and diabetes.

I am Enhanced DBS checked and trained in Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy), behaviour support and de-escalation techniques. I am also trained in diabetes care and have experience using Makaton, visual supports, trauma-informed approaches, and supporting children with a variety of additional needs.

My experience spans caring for babies, toddlers, children, and teenagers, both with and without additional needs. Through my work in schools, private childcare, direct payments, and community support roles, I have developed a calm, patient, and adaptable approach that allows me to build positive relationships with children and provide families with reassurance and peace of mind.

My Availability

I am fortunate to have a very flexible schedule and can offer childcare throughout the week, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and overnight support.

Whether you’re looking for regular ongoing childcare, occasional babysitting, overnight care, help around shift work, school holidays, or just need some extra support from time to time, I am happy to discuss what works best for your family.

I understand that every family is different, so I always try to be as flexible and accommodating as possible. Whether you need childcare for a few hours, a full day, overnight, or on a longer-term basis, I will do my best to find something that suits your needs.

I also offer meet-and-greet sessions before starting regular childcare, giving children and parents the opportunity to get to know me, ask any questions, and ensure everyone feels comfortable and confident before care begins.

My Fees

  • Babysitting from £13.00 per hour

Every child and family is different, so I prefer to discuss fees on an individual basis to ensure the support provided is the right fit for everyone’s needs.

The cost of care can vary depending on factors such as the age and number of children, the hours required, whether care is needed during the day, evening, overnight, or weekends, and the level of support involved. This may include general babysitting, nanny support, respite care, community outings, school runs, or more specialist support where required.

I aim to be as flexible as possible and am always happy to have an open conversation about your family’s requirements before agreeing any bookings. This allows us to find an arrangement that works well for everyone and ensures you receive the most appropriate support for your child.
