My Summary
Specialist 1:1 Sen Tutoring & Mentoring
About Me
Hi there :) We’re Eagles Learning, an alternative provision offering enriching 1:1 tutoring and mentoring for children who need a different kind of support.
We work with children who find mainstream school difficult to manage, including those with SEN, SEMH needs, anxiety, school avoidance, developmental trauma, challenging behaviour, or personalised/reduced timetables.
Our approach is gentle, relationship-based and completely tailored to each child’s needs, interests and pace. We focus on helping children feel safe, understood and confident in their learning.
We support families across Hampshire, including Winchester, Eastleigh, Andover, Southampton, Hythe and nearby areas, offering flexible, child?centred support for learners who benefit from something a little different.
My Experience
We’re highly experienced in supporting children with complex SEN and emotional needs - it’s the heart of our work. Many of the children we support feel anxious, school-avoidant, overwhelmed by mainstream settings, or find behaviour difficult to manage. Our 1:1 approach helps them feel safe, understood, and better able to engage with learning.
We take time to build trust and ease the pressures around learning, helping your child engage with education at a pace that feels safe and right for them.
Our experience includes:
- Supporting children with Autism, ADHD, PDA profiles and sensory needs
- Working with children experiencing anxiety, trauma, attachment needs or school refusal
- Delivering personalised learning for children out of school or on part?time timetables
- Providing academic tutoring in core subjects, as well as mentoring, life skills and enrichment
- Supporting emotional regulation, confidence building and social?emotional development
- Working collaboratively with families, schools and professionals to create consistent support
We support children with EHCP's and can liase with schools and LA caseworkers to secure personalised packages of support.
