About Me
I am patient, adaptable and enthusiastic from swim teaching through to volunteering with Girl-guiding as a Rainbows Leader, I have developed leadership, communication and safeguarding skills whilst creating a supportive, safe and fun environment for children. At rainbows I’ve worked with young girls from ages 4-7, and having volunteered at primary schools, I have experience with children up to age 11. I have taught a breadth of ages through swim teaching from 3 to 83 years old and just leaving school now at age 18 means I’m still relatable to teenagers too.
I have a part-time job swim teaching but I’m looking for a few extra jobs to keep me going as I love working with young people and childcare is something I’m very passionate about. Nowadays, with everything going on in the world, I understand the pressures that is everyday life, the busyness and the worry of trying to find childcare where your child will be safe. My work experience including children
- ive been working with children and adults in the water as an assistant and a teacher for nearly 5 years, providing engaging lessons with safety at the heart of them
- i have voluntary work experience in primary schools professionally working alongside children aiding their support in learning
- girlguiding has given me the opportunity to empower young girls especially, having volunteered at rainbows for more than 3 years
My work experience not including children has been
- working at a butchers for a few months
- working at Rockingham castle in ticket admissions, meet and greet, and running activities in thematic costume for 4 years
- volunteering at a charity shop for 2 years

- Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £14.00 per hour
Babysitting
any children that have been potty trained/aged 4 and above
no more than 3 children at once
would have to be babysat at your location
i can cook meals/make lunch/breakfast
happy to drive and do drop offs no further than 30 mins away from your location (you would have to provide a car seat if needed for the child)
happy to make packed lunches if given the resources
comfortable with SEND children if you’re able to communicate their needs
not afraid to be stern if a child is misbehaving after having had prior warnings

comfortable with tutoring from KS1-KS4 (reception to year 11)
