• Grew an understanding of food hygiene in business and the level of its importance even in children’s cooking
Babysitting for family friends (casually)
• Played games, watched tv and crafted
• Made simple meals
• Did bedtime routines
My Qualifications
No childcare qualifications however I have always held a fascination in the effect of the early years on future development, which therefore sparked my desire into working with children. This inquisitiveness was nurtured during my A-level studies of Sociology, Psychology and English language all involving research and evidence-based practice in child development, finding fascination in the various factors which enable and hinder children. In particular, in my child language acquisition studies, I discovered the importance of the caregiver, playing the most pivotal role in successful language acquisition. My current undergraduate studies in Sociology is furthering this passion.
