About Me
I moved here from Mexico to study a Masters in Musical Theatre and graduated in 2024. I ended up falling in love with London and with my partner and decided to build a life here. I still love theatre but it’s a very difficult career and have decided I want to live a stable life so I decided to do childcare which is a passion of mine, it’s also one of my dreams to become a mother one day so this job is just ideal. I get to learn and care for children and since my family is far away I get to feel part of a family here. So far I have been so lucky and the families I have worked for have been so welcoming and have made my job feel like not a job at all.
My Experience
I have been a nanny for kids of all ages from newborns to teenagers. I love to become a part of their development and their lives and genuinely enjoy their company. Since I graduated from a Masters in theatre 2 years ago I have been nannying with the same family as an afterschool nanny and have become like a part of their family. The girl who is now 11 and I have a beautiful bond and it has been amazing to see her grow. At the same time I have been nannying babies in the morning for moms who need some extra help or some time to so their own stuff. I have been so lucky and have learned so much on the job about babies and all the development stages. I also do babysitting for kids of different ages so I also have experience with other ages.
My Qualifications
I became part of a company for childcare where I did an online certification in childcare and pediatric first aid as well as a child welfare course.
My Availability
I am looking for a job starting September. Around 25 to 30 hours a week.
