About Me

I have enjoyed many years experience of being with children from teaching, raising and home educating my own daughter and most recently working in a nursery. I also volunteer for The Children's Society. I love to read, exercise and be outdoors with nature. I enjoy getting to know children as individuals, supporting their small steps and encouraging their natural curiosity and interests. I can offer regular, personalised childcare.

My Experience

I am a calm, positive and enthusiastic qualified primary school teacher, who has recently been working in a nursery which specialises in working with children aged 3 months to 4 years. My time there has enabled me to update my knowledge on policies and practices. I have completed a variety of relevant courses such as safeguarding, safe sleeping and food hygiene. I am currently taking the Paediatric First Aid course and will then register with OFSTED.

My Qualifications

Qualified Primary School Teacher (PGCE)
Psychology Degree (2:1)
A variety of Early Years Courses including safeguarding, basic first aid, safe sleeping and food hygiene (full list available)
The Children Society courses including GDPR and safeguarding (full list available)
I am currently undertaking the Paediatric First Aid course and intend to register with OFSTED as soon as it is completed (end of July)

My Availability

At the moment I can only offer a maximum of 10 hours a week. I am flexible on days and timings so please ask.
