About Me
I'm a childminder in Middlestown offering Funded sessions- 30 hours for children aged 9 months to 4 years of age.
I have space for:
1 baby under 1
1 child aged 1-2
1 child aged 3-4
I run a home from home setting, which only has natural materials and fibres inside. I have Wool carpets, wooden furniture and a natural fibre floor sofa. I bake my own sourdough bread and offer organic fruit for snacks. Parents asked to bring a packed lunch but please ask if this is an issue and I will consider lunches with a small supplement added.
I have a large enclosed back garden with a space for growing food and space to run around and explore the natural environment. I have a swing set that is securely anchored into the ground.
I am an outdoor person and spend a mixture of time both inside and outside. Outings to the library, playground and some classes will also be offered to enrich children's development and learning.
I have a car with 3 car seats but we will also use the bus service when required. Learning is offered in a montessori style/ approach which is child-led and focused. In reality this means children have access to adult 'tasks' provided to them in a child friendly way such as contributing to keeping area clean and tidy, learning at their own pace and taking responsibility for our shared space and of course lots of fun and cuddles when needed!
