My Experience

I have extensive experience caring for children through helping to raise my younger siblings. Growing up in a large family, I have regularly assisted with looking after four younger siblings, including helping with daily routines, meal preparation, homework support, playtime activities, and ensuring their safety and wellbeing. This experience has taught me patience, responsibility, time management, and how to adapt to the different needs and personalities of children of various ages. Caring for my siblings has given me practical childcare experience and helped me develop confidence in looking after children independently.

My Qualifications

I achieved Distinction*, Distinction, Distinction in my Health and Social Care studies, which helped me develop knowledge of communication, safeguarding, health, wellbeing, and supporting individuals with different needs. I am currently studying at university, which has further strengthened my responsibility, organisation, and commitment. Through both my education and personal experience, I have developed skills that are valuable when caring for children, including patience, reliability, communication, and the ability to provide a safe and supportive environment.
