My Experience

I have 5+ years of experience in caring for children (aged 1-13) and families in different contexts such as babysitting, nannying and afterschool care. I worked in a children's play centre for 6 years, developing excellent skills in supervising groups of children, promoting positive behaviour, and ensuring their safety at all times.

I have also worked as a personal assistant to a business owner which involved daily scheduling management and before and afterschool care for her son. I have volunteered at an afterschool club assisting children with homework, dinnertime and activities such as sports, baking and reading while creating a warm and safe environment.

I also have many years of babysiting experience between family, neighbours and family friends so I am comfortable with cooking, household chores, bedtime routines, etc.

I pride myself on being dependable, patient, and fun, and I enjoy building strong relationships with families. I understand the importance of creating a fun, structured, and supportive environment where children can thrive while giving parents peace of mind that their little ones are in safe and capable hands.

My Qualifications

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Health Science, which has given me a strong understanding of child development, health, wellbeing, and the importance of providing safe, supportive care.

I will also be beginning a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy next year, further developing my knowledge of child development, learning, and supporting individuals to reach their full potential.
