About Me
I am a childminder awaiting registration with Ofsted in October. I have several years of experience working as a nanny and within nursery settings, alongside experience in education as a teacher. I hold a Level 3 childcare qualification, as well as safeguarding and paediatric first aid training.
I am passionate about creating a warm, safe and nurturing environment where children feel secure, valued and encouraged to be themselves. I believe children learn best through positive relationships, play and experiences that allow them to explore, develop their confidence and become increasingly independent. I aim to work closely with parents to provide consistent, responsive care that reflects each child's individual needs, interests and personality.
My Experience
I have several years of experience working with children in different settings, including as a nanny, within nursery environments and in education as a teacher. These experiences have given me a broad understanding of children's development, individual needs and the importance of creating positive, supportive relationships with children and their families.
I have experience planning and supporting age-appropriate activities, encouraging children's independence, supporting their emotional and social development and adapting my approach to meet individual children. My safeguarding and paediatric first aid training also support me in providing safe and responsible care. I hope to bring the best parts of my experience into my childminding setting while creating a more personal, home-from-home environment for the children in my care.
