Looking for a maternity nurse/night nanny
About Me
We're a warm, friendly family based in Essex, expecting our fifth baby in August 2026. We have four children aged 12, 9, 5 and 1, and value a calm, caring and organised home environment.
We're looking to build a supportive team around our family during the newborn period and are hoping to find a caring, experienced and reliable night nanny/maternity nurse who will become a trusted part of that journey.
The role is primarily focused on caring for our newborn overnight. However, on some shifts, overnight care for both our newborn and 1-year-old will be required. Our 1-year-old generally wakes once overnight but may occasionally wake twice during periods of teething, illness or growth spurts.
We value professionalism, kindness, reliability, good communication and a gentle, responsive approach to caring for babies, and hope to find someone who enjoys becoming a valued part of our family's support network.
We're looking for someone with excellent references and significant experience caring for newborns overnight. Previous experience as a maternity nurse, neonatal nurse, paediatric nurse or midwife would be highly desirable, although we're also happy to consider other candidates with extensive newborn care experience.
DBS check, relevant qualifications and paediatric first aid certification are desirable.
