Babysitter in Lincoln
My Summary
About Me
I am a caring, responsible, and enthusiastic individual currently completing my MA in Criminology & Criminal Justice at the University of Lincoln and hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Through my academic studies and support work experience, I have developed a strong understanding of child development, behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and the importance of providing a safe and nurturing environment for young people.
I have a genuine passion for working with children and enjoy supporting their learning, confidence, and personal development through positive encouragement and engaging activities. I am patient, reliable, and committed to creating a warm and supportive atmosphere where children feel valued, respected, and able to thrive.
As I approach the completion of my Master's degree, I am looking to build a long-term career within the childcare sector. I am particularly interested in supporting children’s emotional wellbeing, development, and educational growth, and I am excited to gain further experience working closely with children and families in a professional childcare setting.
My Experience
I have experience supporting vulnerable individuals through my role as a Female Support Worker, my Clinical Psychology Internship, and volunteer work completed during my Bachelor's degree in Psychology. These experiences have helped me develop strong communication, patience, empathy, safeguarding awareness, and the ability to build trusting relationships with children and families.
During my undergraduate studies, I volunteered with children under the age of 10 who were undergoing cancer treatment. In this role, I supported children through play-based and recreational activities, helped create a positive and comforting environment, and provided emotional support to children and their families during challenging times. This experience strengthened my compassion, resilience, and understanding of the emotional needs of children facing serious health conditions.
I have a genuine love for working with children and find it incredibly rewarding.
