My Experience

I have experience working with children aged 2–14 as a nanny, art teaching assistant, and community events organiser. In these roles, I have supported children's learning, creativity, and wellbeing through arts and crafts, storytelling, music, educational activities, and homework support. As a nanny, I cared for young children by preparing meals, organising engaging activities, assisting with daily routines, and creating a safe, nurturing environment. My background as a poet, musician, dancer, and performance artist allows me to bring creativity, energy, and imagination into my work with children while adapting to each child's individual needs and interests.

Wura Kareem has recently graduated from the Roundhouse cohort of Poets and is now working as an events producer and full-time performance artist (music, dance, poetry)
