About Me
I provide caring and reliable childcare that puts the children’s happiness and safety first. I offer support to help your children feel safe and settled and I follow all instructions carefully to meet each child’s individual needs. I create a calm, fun and safe environment where your children will feel comfortable and cared for. I am happy to do all sorts of things to help your family, I am able to prepare meals and snacks for children. I love to set up fun activities, and help with any homework if needed. I can also help with jobs around your home like tidying up, and keeping things organised.
My Experience
I have experience working in a nursery as I done placement work in a nursery for around a year. I worked with children aged 2-5 years old. I also worked closely with two children who have additional support meeds. My mentor gave me really positive feedback stating that I was able to build positive bonds with the children and stating that I work very well with children of all abilities. I also have experience through looking after children in my family, with newborn children all the way to children aged 12. I have some experience helping with a newborn child in my family, I have fed, carried, changed nappies and took them out walks in their prams. I have a PVG check too.
My Qualifications
I have achieved qualifications including - Higher English (Grade B), National 5 Applications of maths (Grade B), National 5 Art & Design (Grade B), National 5 English (Grade B), National 5 History (Grade B), National 5 maths (Grade C), National 5 Practical Cookery (Grade B), and National 5 Spanish (Grade B). I also have SCQF level 6 awards in leadership and Social Services (Children & Young people), both achieved at a pass level.
My Availability
I am available during the week right now, and can work days that suit your family, however I will be away on holiday from the 4th of July until the 12th of July. I do have a part time job at weekends at the moment but in the future I am planning on doing childcare full time instead.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
I’m happy to discuss fees and we can agree on something that works for both of us
