My Summary

My Experience

Over the years I have had many jobs in different industries… I have worked in aviation, hospitality, leisure etc. The first role I had with children was actually in America. I did Camp America back in 2023 at a camp called International Gymnastics Camp (in Pennsylvania). I worked here for 3 months. My role was predominantly lifeguarding the pool & lake. As a counsellor, we worked & lived with the kids. In my cabin, we had 21 girls each week ages 9-12 however, I did have a week in a cabin with ages 14-15. Working here really opened my eyes to how much I love working with children. Once I arrived back, I landed a job as a lifeguard in a leisure centre pretty quickly. Here I gained many qualifications, some including: swim teaching, gymnastics coaching, aqua aerobics and an SEND swim teacher certificate. After leaving this job in June 2025, I became a teaching assistant & have loved working here ever since!

My Qualifications

I have many qualifications from first aid to sports coaching. I gained my first aid certificate in 2023. We trained monthly here to keep us up to date with the knowledge. I also gained an SEND swim teacher qualification & a regular swim teacher qualification. I taught regularly every week on a Saturday. I had an SEND class first then 5 classes that followed. I later gained a gymnastics coaching qualification. This was really fun as someone who grew up doing & loving gymnastics! I really enjoyed teaching this, I also some private sessions with an SEND 5 year old girl who made a lot of progress in such a short period.

My Availability

I am available during the evenings from around 4:30pm (depending on location). I am usually free on the weekends to pick up a few hours!

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
