About Me
As a 17 year old babysitter, I have just under a year of experience caring for toddlers, preschoolers, and babies inside of a nursery, and also work experience in a year 2 class in a primary school, but multiple years outside of a nursery setting as I have cared for my cousins and family friends children (they are ages 6-9). While my profile does state that I am only available on weekends and evenings, I can also make availability on weekdays if I am informed in advance on when you would like me to babysit. I currently work in a nursery part time every week and I work in both the baby room (up to just under 2 years), toddler room (2-3 years) and also the preschool room (3-5 years). I have most experience with 0-4 year olds. Alongside this, I also have a valid and clear enhanced DBS, paediatric and adult first aid training, and a level 2 in food safety. I also have all my training which I have received from my nursery, which I can provide to anyone wanting to see my certificates. I have achieved all my GCSES, with a grade 8 in English language, grade 5 in Spanish, 5-5 in Science and a high grade 4 in higher maths. I'm responsible, patient, and caring, with skills in drawing, reading, and playing games. My favourite activity with children is reading books. And I am also happy to bring along any activities made by me that my nursery children like to the home to occupy the child/children. On the topic of caring for children, I am happy to do bed time, bath time, nappy changing, supporting in potty training, teeth cleaning, getting dressed, close outings such as to the park, etc. I'm comfortable around pets as I have owned cats, dogs, hamsters and rabbits myself, happy to help with chores such as cleaning, washing, drying, washing up and ironing, and of course assisting with any homework or teaching subjects like early maths, english and science. I am completing my Level 3 T Level in Childcare, demonstrating my commitment to early childhood education, and I have just finished my first year. My Experience
I currently work in a nursery where I have worked with all ages from 3 months-5 years. I have worked there for just under a year now. I am also studying my second year of Childcare level 3 in college.
